Roger Horowitz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Roger began their career in 2007 as a Field Organizer for Obama for America, where they managed volunteer outreach activities and oversaw voter contact in multiple locations. Roger also served as the Southern Nevada Youth Vote Director, managing a team and implementing outreach strategies. In 2009, they became the co-owner of Pleasant Pops, a business they started with a college roommate. During their tenure, they hired and managed a large team while overseeing operations and sales at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market. Since 2019, they have been working at Solar United Neighbors, initially as the Director of Solar Co-ops and currently as the Director of Go Solar Programs. In these roles, they have been responsible for implementing solar energy programs and initiatives. Overall, Roger Horowitz has demonstrated leadership, management, and entrepreneurial skills throughout their career.
Roger Horowitz earned a Bachelor's degree in Peace, War, & Defense and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Roger attended the university from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, Roger obtained a certification as a PV Associate from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners in February 2022.
