Iñigo Pastor Estarriaga

CAD Engineer at SolarDuck

Iñigo Pastor Estarriaga has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. In 2013, they started working as a CAD Draftsman at EXKAL, where they created architectural AutoCAD drawings and developed a 3D furniture database using SolidWorks. Iñigo also gained proficiency in KeyShot software for 3D scenario rendering. During this time, they completed multiple installation projects based on these renderings.

In 2018, Iñigo became a Patented hand tool designer, focusing on designing an innovative tool for the drywall industry. Iñigo conducted performance tests and used load sensors and data analysis to identify and correct performance problems. Throughout field testing, they optimized the tool to enhance its versatility and robustness.

After that, in 2019, they joined EXKAL as a Facilities Engineer, leading the drafting team of the Facilities Engineering Department. Iñigo proposed and developed new databases and files to improve the performance of CAD drawings, routine calculations, and valve and project component selection. Additionally, they specialized in new technologies and CO2 refrigeration systems, creating theoretical and experimental applied computational templates to study 12 novel refrigeration systems under different variables.

In 2022, Iñigo worked as an R&D&I Engineer at Nordex Group. Then in 2023, they joined SolarDuck as a CAD Engineer.

Iñigo Pastor Estarriaga completed their Master's degree in Applied and Computational Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Pública de Navarra from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 2014 and 2019. Iñigo'seducational journey also included a Superior Degree in Design and Mechanical Manufacturing from CIP Tafalla, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Iñigo obtained several certifications. Iñigo completed practical training in "SOLIDWORKS: Industrial Part" and advanced techniques in "SOLIDWORKS: Assembly" from LinkedIn in April 2023. Iñigo also obtained a certification in "SOLIDWORKS: Product Design, From Idea to Model" in March 2023, and "Time Management Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in January 2023. Iñigo also holds an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 64/100 in the C1 Advanced level, obtained from EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
