Yanxin Qin

Yanxin Qin has worked as a Structural Engineer for SolarDuck since 2022, as a Structural Engineer for Huisman Equipment B.V. since 2020, as a PHD Student for Technische Universiteit Delft since 2016, and as a Research Assistant for Wuhan University of Technology since 2012. At Wuhan University of Technology, Yanxin Qin focused on the numerical simulation of internal waves.

Yanxin Qin received their Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2013. Yanxin then earned their Master's Degree in Fluid Dynamics from the same institution in 2014. In the following year, they earned a Master's Degree in Offshore Engineering, in the field of offshore structure design from Delft University of Technology. Yanxin completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Fatigue of welded joints in marine and offshore structures from Delft University of Technology in 2021.
