Elad Zohar

Elad Zohar is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and development, particularly in plastics and materials engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SolarEdge Technologies since December 2020, Zohar previously held the role of Senior Plastics Engineer at GenCell Ltd. from January 2012 to November 2020, focusing on plastic technologies, product manufacturing, and testing methods. Earlier experience includes working as an R&D Engineer at Elbit Systems Ltd., where Zohar specialized in carbon-based electrodes for capacitors, and as a research assistant at the Weizmann Institute of Science, studying the thermal and mechanical properties of novel materials. Zohar began the professional journey as a QA Technician at Tosaf compounds, addressing customer complaints and ensuring product quality. Zohar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Shenkar - Engineering. Design. Art. obtained in June 2009.
