R&d Manager at Solarge

Menno van den Donker serves as R&D Manager at Solarge since December 2018, where the focus is on the development of lightweight solar energy solutions. In addition to this role, Menno van den Donker has been a trainer at Switch2Solar since September 2019, specializing in "Solar-Buildings," "Solar-Design," and "Solar-Allround." As the founder and owner of Durin, also established in September 2018, Menno van den Donker provides sustainable innovation consultancy related to the production, assembly, installation, integration, and application of solar panels. Previous positions include advisor for sustainable innovations at TGM - Technisch Gevelbouw Management, co-operative council member at WeertEnergie, and project manager at SEAC Solar Energy Application Centre, where customer acquisition and project management were key responsibilities. Early career roles include product manager at Sunweb Solar Cells BV and R&D system architect at Solland Solar Cells BV, alongside research and education at Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH and Akzo Nobel. Menno van den Donker holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.Sc. in Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, completed between 1996 and 2006.
