Sumeet Bidani

Sumeet Bidani is the VP, Operations and Asset Management at SolarReserve. Sumeet has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on business development and investments.

Bidani started their career as a Senior Engineer at Asea Brown Boveri, where they worked on the development and management of coal and gas-based power projects. Sumeet then moved to Alstom Power, where they were responsible for the execution of mechanical packages of Coal and NG combined cycle power projects.

In 2004, Bidani joined Duke Energy as the Director of Business Development and Investments. In this role, they were responsible for developing Duke Energy's solar power business, as well as originating, commercial analytics, deal valuation and structuring, and deal negotiation and transaction closing for investments in start-up companies in the clean energy space.

Bidani has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.

Sumeet Bidani has a Master's in Business Administration from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, with a focus in finance and supply chain. Sumeet also has a degree in mechanical engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, specializing in automotive and refrigeration.
