Michael Hoey

Michael Hoey is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the medical technology sector. As the Founder, Director, President, and CTO of Francis Medical since April 2018, Michael has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions. In addition, Michael serves as a General Partner at Solas BioVentures and holds board member positions at Front Line Medical Technologies Inc. and Morari. Michael's previous roles include founding and directing NXThera and Uptake Medical, alongside a notable tenure at Salient Surgical Technologies as an inventor. Michael's academic credentials include a PhD focus in Physiology from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Saint John's University.
