Nikolaos Kalogeropoulos AMIMechE AFHEA has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Nikolaos has recently worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Solena Materials Limited, where they designed and prototyped the main production rig for a Sustainable Fabric Biotechnology company.

Prior to that, Nikolaos worked as a Doctoral Student at Imperial College London, where they researched methods of simulating wildfire propagation and integrated high-speed smoke simulations into fire simulation software. Nikolaos also developed an algorithm for calculating probabilistic trigger buffers in areas at risk of wildfires.

Nikolaos has also held various roles at Imperial College London, including Mechanical Design Course Coordinator, where they integrated CAD packages into the Mechanical Design Course Project and created tutorials and study materials. Nikolaos also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, teaching Solidworks to students and providing extracurricular lectures.

Nikolaos gained industry experience as a Design Engineer and Research and Development Lead at Alrose Products Ltd | British Gas Springs, where they led projects for new product development, existing product improvement, and new production methods.

Nikolaos's experience also includes working as a Robotics Mechanical Engineer at UVRobots, where they contributed to the development of a robotic unit that cleanses medical spaces using UV light. Additionally, they founded and served as the CEO, Creator, and Lead Developer of PMASport Limited, an online platform for training planning and performance improvement for athletes.

Earlier in their career, Nikolaos worked as a Team Coordinator for Imperial Racing Green, a core member of the Pedals and Brakes team of the EV3 Formula Student vehicle. Nikolaos also worked at Imperial College London to improve the Design and Manufacture Course and as a Private Tutor.

Outside of their professional roles, Nikolaos has written articles as a Tech Journalist for 3DPrinterChat and has worked as a private tutor.

Nikolaos Kalogeropoulos AMIMechE AFHEA completed their education in a chronological manner. Nikolaos began their academic journey at Psychico College from 2008 to 2017, where they obtained their IB Diploma. Their field of study during this time is not specified.
