Julien Assomo

Julien Assomo has extensive experience in the field of tax and customs management. Julien served as the Group Head of Tax for SOLEVO Group, where they were responsible for managing the tax function and handling tax and customs matters. Prior to that, they held the same position at Gunvor Group Ltd. Julien also worked as a Senior Manager of International Tax at Eurasian Resources Group and as a Senior International Tax Manager at Transocean. Julien began their career as a Tax Assistant at Landwell & Associés and later worked as a Lawyer-Senior Manager of Tax at EY. With a career spanning over two decades, Assomo has built a strong expertise in tax planning, reporting, and audit.

Julien Assomo has a Master's degree in Taxation and Business Law (DJCE) from DJCE (Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d'Entreprise). Julien obtained this degree, which is equivalent to a Master's in Business Administration, at an undisclosed time. Additionally, Julien has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in International Trade from ISFB - Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire in January 2021, Admission to the French Bar from Bar School in December 1997, and a Certificate of specialisation in Taxation from ANDJCE in August 1997.
