Chad Rabe

Chad Rabe is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Sr. Director of Industrial Design at Solgaard Design Inc. since October 2022, where the focus is on environmentally conscious product design that prioritizes community needs. Prior to this role, Chad held the position of Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Dell, Inc. from June 2013 to October 2022, leading efforts to innovate soft goods and accessories that enhance user experience. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Product Design Manager at Eagle Creek, Inc., co-authoring product design briefs, managing resources, and overseeing design staff from March 2005 to June 2013. Additionally, Chad operated as a Freelance Industrial Designer from May 2004 to June 2013, providing comprehensive design solutions for soft goods. Chad's career began at Vortex Outdoors as a Senior Designer, focusing on technical products for outdoor activities from October 2002 to March 2005. Chad earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Brigham Young University in 2004.
