Janhavi Basavarajappa

Janhavi Basavarajappa has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Research Assistant at Boston Medical Center until 2004. Following that, they held the position of Research Associate at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for a brief period. In 2004, they joined Dartmouth College as a Research Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Dartmouth Genomics and Microarray Core Manager, where they managed the Genomics Core Lab and conducted various lab experiments and tests using multiple platforms.

In 2011, Janhavi joined Xyleco as an Associated MicroBiologist/Molecular Biologist, responsible for setting up the Molecular Biology Lab and managing its operations. Janhavi also oversaw the ordering and management of inventory, storage of chemicals, maintenance of instruments, and bio-hazard pickup for the department. Additionally, they played a crucial role in maintaining, banking, and monitoring Cell Banks for large-scale fermentations.

Janhavi's career then led their to T2 Biosystems, where they worked as a Microbiology Manufacturing Supervisor from 2018 until 2020.

Their most recent position is with Solid Biosciences, where they started as a Sr. Manager of Lab Operations in 2020 before being promoted to the role of Associate Director of Lab Operations in August 2022.
