Etienne Dumesnil

Etienne Dumesnil has extensive work experience in academia and research. Etienne is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Solid State of Mind, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a University Lecturer at both the University of Ottawa from September 2015 to May 2018 and at the Université de Montréal from January 2011 to December 2017.

Etienne Dumesnil has a diverse education history. Etienne began their academic journey at the Université de Montréal, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Psychology from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Etienne transferred to the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronics Engineering. This program lasted from 2011 to 2016, providing him with a solid foundation in engineering concepts.

Simultaneously, from 2016 to 2019, they balanced their studies at UQAM with two additional educational pursuits. Firstly, they attended École de Technologie Supérieure, from where they obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Secondly, they embarked on a PhD program in Cognitive Computing at UQAM, conducting advanced research in this field.
