Kate Conradt

Kate Conradt has a distinguished career in communications, currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Solidarity Center since December 2010. In this role, Kate established the organization’s first professional communications department, overseeing initiatives such as website revamps, social media engagement, and press outreach. Previously, Kate worked as the Director of Media and Communications/Emergencies at Save the Children, managing communications during global crises, including natural disasters. Other notable positions include Communications Director for the Basic Education Coalition and Managing Editor for The Economist Intelligence Unit. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Hispanic Studies from Florida International University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Mass Communications, and Spanish from Kansas State University.
