Petja Venäläinen is an experienced leader in cloud consulting and digital transformation, currently serving as Director of Cloud Platforms at Solita since December 2017, overseeing sales, marketing, and talent acquisition, while leading a business unit focused on major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Venäläinen previously held the position of CEO at SW-Development Ltd, where responsibility included a P&L of over 2 million Euros and managing digitalization solutions for top companies in Finland, Sweden, and the Baltics. Prior roles at Solita included Senior Consultant and Business Manager, where Venäläinen achieved significant sales milestones, and a long tenure at EurotaxGlass's involved managing software development teams across multiple countries, delivering projects on time, and improving operational efficiency. With a solid academic background including a Master's in Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, Venäläinen combines technical expertise with leadership in the technology sector.
