Michele Leroux Bustamante

Michele Leroux Bustamante has a long and varied work experience. Michele began their career in 1993 as a Program Advisor and Instructor at UCSD Extension, where they founded the Microsoft curriculum certificate program. In 1997 they moved to Motiva Software as a Software Development Manager and Software Developer, where they provided project management, administration, and technical leadership for a team of 10 developers. In 1999 they joined WebSideStory, Inc. as a Development Manager, responsible for design, implementation and delivery of integrated web applications and tools for the web surfer. In 2000 they joined ConfirmNet Corporation as the Chief Information Officer and VP Engineering, representing the company in all aspects of technology vision, direction and implementation of products and services to business partners and clients. In 2002 they joined IDesign as Chief Architect, where they helped small startups and Fortune 500 companies with their systems design and architecture. In 2007 they became an Author for O'Reilly Media. In 2009 they joined BiTKOO as a Partner and Chief Security Architect, bringing years of expertise in security standards and identity federation tools and platforms to their role. In 2012 they founded Snapboard (a Solliance product) and became Cofounder and President of Solliance. In 2017 they became Cofounder of PolicyServer, a commercial software product for application authorization and governance.

Michele Leroux Bustamante completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Ryerson University between 1985 and 1989, with a double major in Finance and Computer Science.
