Brett Roddis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brett began their career as a Senior Designer at The Duffer of St.George in 2001 and then freelanced as an Accessories Designer at Marc Jacobs from 2004 to 2006. Brett joined Abercrombie & Fitch (US) in 2006, holding the position of Senior Designer until 2008. From there, they moved on to The North Face as a Senior Designer from 2008 to 2014. Brett then became the Design Director for Active Apparel and Accessories at Old Navy from 2014 to 2017. After that, they worked at Gap Inc. as the Director of Advanced Concept Design and Design Strategy before being promoted to Senior Director of Advanced Design Strategy, Product Innovation, and Futures Insights. In 2020, they transitioned to Athleta, where they served as the Head of Design Strategy, Innovation, and Futures Insights until 2022. Currently, they hold the role of VP of Innovation - Human Insights at Solo Brands. Throughout their career, Brett has demonstrated expertise in identifying emerging markets, conducting futures insights, and utilizing human-centered design methodologies.
Brett Roddis attended Northumbria University from 1995 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design with Marketing. Their field of study focused on Fashion/Apparel Design.
