James Nguyen is currently the Head of Mobile Engineering at SoLo Funds. Prior to this, they held positions as Mobile Development at Capital Group, Director of Mobile at Modus Group, LLC, and Head of Mobile at REVOLVE. James has also been a Mobile Technical Lead at Strategy&, a member of the PwC network of firms (formerly Booz & Company), and 21st Century Fox. Most recently, they were an iOS Mobile Developer at DIRECTV. James has extensive experience in static library development, live video streaming, networking, and UI front-end development. James is an expert in the iOS SDK, Dragon Nuance SDK, and phone to set-top box communication over IP.
James Nguyen has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma in Computer Electrical Engineering. James also has an iOS Developer certification from TestDome.

SoLo is an online community where members can request and fund short-term needs. SoLo launched in 2018 with the goal of providing an alternative to short-term loans that were non-predatory, simple, and community-driven.
