Michael Waring

Michael Waring is an associate at SOLOMON, CORDWELL, BUENZ & ASSOCIATES, INC. Michael previously worked as an associate at Shalom Baranes Associates from May 2017 to October 2021 and at Lessard Design Inc. from May 2014 to May 2017.

At Lessard Design Inc., Michael started as a Junior Designer after a four month internship and quickly received the company’s Initial Impact Award for their outstanding work ethic and exceptional talent. Michael went on to receive the company’s Significant Growth Award in 2015. In their role, they assisted senior staff with producing Schematic Design drawings, preparing feasibility studies, and researching and analyzing local project Zoning Regulations and Building Codes. Michael also managed a team of designers in the production of Site Plan and Zoning submissions as well as Client presentations.

At Shalom Baranes Associates, Michael continued their focus on multi-family residential design, working on projects at all scales from 12 to over 300 units. Michael also gained experience with mixed use projects in VA, MD, DC, NY, NJ, CT, and MA.

Michael Waring has a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Architecture with a Minor in Urban Studies from Northeastern University. Michael is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) in NCARB Certificate and by the DC Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) in Registered Architect. Michael also has certification from the American Heart Association in CPR for the Health Care Provider and from New York State in Emergency Medical Technician-Basic.
