Fernando Sanchez has extensive culinary experience, currently serving as Executive Chef at Solotel's Opera Bar & House Canteen since May 2016, with previous roles as Head Chef at Opera Bar, The Clock Hotel, and The Marlborough Hotel. Prior to joining Solotel, Fernando held the position of Head Chef at Foys Kirribilli from 2015 to 2016 and served as Executive Chef at Food Society from 2013 to 2015. Earlier career roles include Chef De Partie at Belinda Franks Catering and Royal Randwick Racecourse, as well as Chef at Cheeky Food Events. Fernando gained foundational skills by earning a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery from TAFE NSW between 2005 and 2007.
