Harriet Karlsson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Harriet started their career as a Finance Specialist at OKOBANK Osuuspankkien Keskuspankki Oy in 1993. Harriet then worked as a Project Manager at Aleri, where they oversaw large-scale system projects for major treasury banks. In 2002, they joined Satama Interactive as a Client Director, responsible for sales and execution of web development programs. From 2008 to 2010, Harriet worked as the Director of e-Business at Suomen Lähikauppa Oy, where they developed the company's multichannel strategy. Harriet also served as a Project Director, working on business development projects and the planning of eCommerce concepts. Harriet then joined Descom Oy (merged with Solteq Oyj) as a Client Executive and Senior Consultant in the retail industry. Harriet later moved to Solteq Plc, where they held positions such as Client Executive for strategic accounts and Head of Customer Success Management, overseeing customer relations, account planning, and leading CSM practices.

Harriet Karlsson obtained their M.Sc. degree in Accounting and Finance from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu during the period of 1989 to 1995.
