Shane Mendler has worked in the network engineering field since 2003. Shane began their career as a Telecommunications Technician at Ficom, where they were responsible for establishing voice and data networks, maintaining the network, and modifying the telecommunications infrastructure. In 2006, they began working at Harris ITS as a Network Engineer, where they managed and configured network devices in the world's largest internal computer network, NMCI. In 2014, they transitioned to AT&T Government Solutions as an NGEN Network Engineer, where they managed the NGEN Network at San Diego Naval Station and various remote SITEs, led a team of Four Engineers, managed network related projects of varying size and complexities, and troubleshot network outages. In 2016, they moved to SOLUTE as a Network Engineer - SPAWAR System Center, and in 2017, they joined Gov Solutions Group SPAWAR System Center Pacific as a Network Engineer.
Shane Mendler attended Cuyamaca College in 2009, where they studied Cisco Systems Academy. Prior to that, they attended Advanced College of Technology in 2003, where they studied Telecommunications Technology. In addition, they obtained an ITILv3 Foundation certification from EXIN in June 2012, and a Security + CE certification from CompTIA in May 2010.
