Anas Mahmood

Anas Mahmood is a seasoned Big Data Specialist currently employed at Solutions by STC since October 2023. Previously, Anas served as a Principal Software Engineer at Afiniti from January 2021 to November 2023 and worked at Telenor from September 2016 to November 2021, where roles included Big Data Engineer and EDW Operations Specialist. Anas's expertise encompasses ETL processes, big data technologies such as Hive, Spark, and HDFS, and Teradata administration. During tenure at Telenor, Anas played a key role in revamping the EDW & BI platform, managing a complex big data cluster, and enhancing network security for the infrastructure. Anas holds a Bachelor in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and a Data Engineering Nano Degree from Udacity.
