Mohamed Idres

Mohamed Idres is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Cloud Architect at solutions by stc since December 2022, Mohamed previously held the position of Systems Team Leader at THIQAH Business Services from May 2019 to December 2022. Prior roles include Senior Solutions Engineer in Cloud at Abdulrahman A. Al-Moussa Trading Co. Ltd and First Data Center Systems Engineer at Sudatel Telecom Group, Ltd, where expertise in server hardware, VMware infrastructure, and systems design was demonstrated. Additionally, Mohamed worked as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Africa City of Technology, focusing on VMware vCloud Suite and CloudStack IaaS private cloud management. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Khartoum and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Sudan University of Science and Technology.
