Donny Gallagher P.e.

Donny Gallagher, P.E. has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Donny is currently the Vice President of Engineering at SOLV Energy, where they are responsible for overseeing engineering and permitting efforts. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Engineering at SOLV Energy, where they focused on implementing construction team input and plant performance analytics to deliver high ROI to clients. Before joining SOLV Energy, Donny worked at Swinerton as the Director of Engineering for Swinerton Renewable Energy, where they led engineering and permitting teams and incorporated new technologies and value engineering strategies. Donny also served as the Engineering & Permitting Manager at Swinerton Renewable Energy, managing design teams and permitting efforts for utility-scale solar projects. Donny began their career as a Civil Engineer at RBF Consulting.

Donny Gallagher, P.E. graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2007. In 2008, they obtained the LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification from the Green Building Certification Institute. In 2010, they received several additional certifications including becoming a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering from the California Board of Professional Engineer's Land Surveyors, and Geologists, as well as obtaining the QSD: Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer and QSP: Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Practitioner certifications from the California Stormwater Quality Association.
