Solvang ASA is a Norway-based company engaged in the marine sector. The Company specializes in the Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), ammonia (NH3) and petrochemical gases transportation. Its activities are divided into two business areas: Ship management and Ship ownership. The Company’s fleet comprises three types of vessels: Semi-refrigerated/Ethylene, a gas carrier that transports from 12,000 to 17,000 cubic meters (cbm) of cargo under high pressure and with full refrigeration; Large Gas Carrier (LGC), which transports between 50,000 and 70,000 cbm of LPG; and Very Large Gas Carrier, a LPG carrier with over 75,000 cbm load capacity. Furthermore, the Company is a parent of Solvang Shipping AS, Clipper Shipping AS, Solvang Maritime AS and International Gas Carriers AS.
