Alice Pivoli

Vice President Digital & Marketing Communications at Solvay

Alice Pivoli has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alice began their career as a Marketing Manager at Franco Pivoli & C./ MUSTO, where they developed and managed marketing strategies for the Musto brand in Italy. Alice also handled communication and promotion activities for exhibitions and fairs.

Later, Alice worked as an Account in Marketing and Event Management at Conca Delachi, where they focused on contract negotiation, relationship management, and market research.

Alice then joined Telecom Italia Media as a Senior Account Manager - Public Relations/Events, where they successfully negotiated contracts and conducted press office activities.

Alice also worked at Fondamenta SGR as a part of their MBA Summer Project, where they evaluated business prospects and analyzed capital budgeting requirements.

At Angelo Galasso, Alice served as the Head of Marketing and Communications, responsible for planning and driving marketing activities in key countries.

Alice then joined Solvay, where they held several roles. Alice served as the Head of the President's Office at Specialty Polymers and later became the Head of Marketing Communications at Specialty Polymers. In these roles, they led global teams, managed digital transformation initiatives, and implemented crisis management and merger communication strategies.

Currently, Alice is employed by Plastics Europe, representing Solvay in the communication committee. Alice provides advisory input on communication strategies focused on improving the reputation of plastic and plastic producers.

In the future, Alice will be joining Syensqo as the V.P. of Digital & Marketing Communications.

Alice Pivoli received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communication from Nottingham Trent University in the years 2000-2004. Alice then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at SDA Bocconi from 2012-2013. Recently, in 2019, they completed a course in Digital Marketing Strategy at Harvard University, focusing on Business/Corporate Communications.
