Shawn Junker

Shawn Junker has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as a Senior Process Development Engineer and Engineering Manager at Solvay since January 2005. In this role, Shawn oversees an engineering group focused on developing safe, long-term solutions to process challenges while maintaining operational continuity, with a team trained in 6S practices and including two Black Belts. Prior to this, Shawn worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Cytec Solvay Group from February 2007 to March 2015, providing global engineering support for thermoplastic, fiber handling, and impregnation processes. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (1996-1999) and a Master's degree in Materials Science from The University of Texas at Dallas (2011-2016).
