Network Operations Center Engineer at Solvere One

Ashu Ako has been working in the IT industry since 2006. In 2006, they started their career as a PC Support Technician at SmithBucklin. In 2010, they moved to Hilltop Consultants as a Help Desk Technician, where they provided hardware and software support remotely, by phone or email for both servers and desktops, and researched and recommended new systems and services to match client needs. In 2012, Ashu joined Frontline Managed Services as a Platform Engineer and NOC Engineer. As a Platform Engineer, they were responsible for all monitoring and management platforms used for alerting, remediation, scripting, backups, patching, and integration between systems, as well as the creation of new knowledgebase articles for deploying tools using agreed-upon internal best practices. As a NOC Engineer, they were the primary point of contact for EU and Asia clients and was responsible for monitoring Network systems availability, stability, health and Server backups, as well as planning and implementing automating resolutions for recurring tasks or service requests to increase productivity and reduce downtime. In 2021, Ashu began working as a Network Operations Center Engineer at Solvere One.

Ashu Ako obtained a B.Sc. in Information Systems Technology from Drexel University between 2000 and 2005. In December 2022, they obtained a Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification from Microsoft.
