Joel Jimenez Baez has been working in the IT industry since 2018. Joel began their career at Remesas Vimenca as a Représentante service clients in 2018. In 2020, they moved to Wepsys as a QA Tester. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Solvex Dominicana, SRL as a QA Automation, where they are responsible for Manual Tests, Automated Tests with Katalon, APIs, databases, forms, reports, DevOps, Azure Portal, and Postman.

Joel Jimenez Baez has a diverse educational background. From 2018 to 2022, they attended ITLA, where they earned a TECNOLOGO EN DESARROLLO DE SOFTWARE in the field of Tecnología/Técnico de software informático. From 2022 to 2025, they are pursuing a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de software at Universidad Dominico Americano UNICDA. In 2020, they obtained a SOFTWARE TEST-MANAGER from INTERNACIONAL SOFTWARE TEST-INSTITUTE. Additionally, they hold certifications in ASP.NET from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, COMUNICACION EFECTIVA and REDACCION DE INFORMES from INFOTEP, and a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from Scrum Foundation.
