Rohan Saphal

Rohan Saphal has extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Rohan started their career as a computer vision intern at Caterpillar Inc. in 2016. Rohan then worked as a graduate technical intern at Intel Labs in 2018. In the same year, they also took on the role of a graduate teaching assistant for Fundamentals of Automotive Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In 2019, Rohan worked as a project engineer and graduate teaching assistant for various subjects at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Rohan also worked as a teaching assistant at NPTEL during the same period. From 2021 to 2022, they served as an applied research scientist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In 2022, they joined Shell as a senior AI researcher, specializing in AI and trading. Currently, Rohan holds the position of machine learning engineer at Solvo.ai starting from 2023.

Rohan Saphal began their education in 2009 at MMAR School, where they studied secondary school until 2012. Rohan then attended Kuriakose Elias English Medium School from 2012 to 2014, completing their high school education. From 2014 to 2019, Rohan pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering Design at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In 2019, they enrolled at the University of Oxford and completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 2020.
