Sarah Jarvis

Sarah Jarvis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of machine learning, data science, and software development. Sarah is currently working at Solvo.ai as a Technical Product Manager and previously held the position of Machine Learning and Data Science at the same company.

Prior to Solvo.ai, Sarah was the Director of Machine Learning at Babylon, where they focused on change management of operational processes and worked on improving communication and standardization within the team.

Sarah also has experience working at Secondmind, where they held multiple roles including Director of Applied Machine Learning and Data Science, Head of Data Science, and Senior Data Scientist. During their time at Secondmind, they were responsible for leading machine learning efforts, developing strategies for translating research into customer challenges, and growing and improving the ML and data science teams.

Before Secondmind, Sarah worked at Burnet Institute as a Team Leader and Senior Analyst, where they gained expertise in analysis and leadership skills.

Sarah Jarvis has a diverse and accomplished education history. Sarah pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and M. Biomed Eng. in Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from UNSW, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. Sarah then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational neuroscience from The University of Freiburg, completing their studies from 2007 to 2012. Sarah further advanced their knowledge in the field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering through postdoctoral studies at Imperial College London, which they pursued from 2013 to 2016.
