Francesca Portesine

Francesca Portesine is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in the architecture and design industry. Currently serving as the Associate - Global Hospitality Lead at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since November 2022, Francesca previously held the position of Director of Interiors at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group from December 2016 to September 2022, where earlier contributions as a Senior Architect spanned from June 2013 to April 2016. Francesca's career began at OMA as an Architect from March 2007 to May 2013, followed by architectural roles at BRIGITTE METRA & ASSOCIES, and MASSIMILIANO FUKSAS ARCHITECTURE. An early internship at IBOS & VITART further solidified Francesca's foundation in the field. Francesca's educational background includes studies at Liceo Scientifico.
