Marc Gillissen

Marc Gillissen serves as the Manager of Procurement at Van Gelder Groep BV since March 2023, having extensive experience in procurement and training across various notable organizations. Currently involved with Nevi as a designer of exams and examiner since July 2022, Marc also contributes as a Training Specialist for Koninklijke Bouwend Nederland and has a long-standing role as an educator in entrepreneurship and business planning within the construction sector. Previously, Marc held several significant positions at Royal IHC, where responsibilities included managing procurement for custom-built offshore vessels, achieving substantial cost savings and high project performance metrics. With a career spanning various roles that include business development and tender management, coupled with multiple degrees and training certifications in Business Management and Civil Engineering, Marc brings a wealth of expertise in procurement strategies and education to the construction and infrastructure industries.
