Esra Barakat

Esra Barakat currently serves as the SomaScan Field Application Scientists - Team Leader for EMEA at SomaLogic, leading a team to provide technical support and enablement for the SomaScan® Assay in translational research, diagnostics, and drug discovery. Responsibilities include overseeing application deployments, offering technical guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior roles include Field Application Scientist at SomaLogic and Senior Technical Support Specialist at Cepheid, where Esra facilitated advanced technical support and drove customer adoption across the Middle East & North Africa. Previous experience includes medical technologist positions at King Hussein Cancer Centre, specializing in bone marrow transplantation and molecular diagnostics. Esra Barakat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
