Joseph Gogain

Joseph Gogain, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Joseph is currently serving as the Director of Clinical R&D at SomaLogic since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Clinical R&D at SomaLogic from December 2019 to April 2022, and Clinical Research & Development Senior Manager from December 2017 to December 2019.

Before joining SomaLogic, Joseph worked at Great Basin Scientific, Inc. as the Director of R&D from January 2017 to August 2017, and as an Associate Director of Research and Development from March 2016 to January 2017.

From 2009 to 2016, Joseph worked at Venaxis Inc. (formerly AspenBio Pharma, Inc.) in various roles. Joseph served as the Director of R&D and Clinical Studies from July 2012 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for leading national clinical trials and supplementing CE marked claims using trial data. Joseph also contributed to site recruitment, initiation visits, trainings, monitoring, and closeout activities. Prior to this, Joseph held positions as Sr. R&D Manager, R&D Manager, and Team Leader in Cell and Molecular Biology.

Joseph's early work experience includes a position as a Molecular and Cellular Biologist at Aspen BioPharma from January 2008 to January 2009, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2004 to 2007.

Joseph Gogain, PhD, received their B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming in 1996. Joseph then went on to obtain their PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University in 2003. Additionally, Joseph has attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and the University of Colorado Boulder, although it is unclear whether they completed any degree or field of study at these institutions.
