Alexandru Sas

Alexandru Sas is an experienced environmental specialist currently working at Somarest since March 2023. In addition to this role, Alexandru serves as a volunteer with Ambasada Sustenabilității în România and has held positions such as Student Senator at Universitatea Lucian Blaga from November 2021 to September 2023 and Project Manager at Club Francophone d'Affaires de Sibiu from June to September 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a youth regional advisor for La Région Occitanie from June 2018 to December 2021, an intern at the Ministry of Environment, Waters, and Forests in the Romanian Government in August 2021, and an Environment, Health, and Safety Intern at Colt Technology Services in 2020. Alexandru has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in Expertiza și managementul sistemelor ecologice and multiple qualifications from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and Campus La Salle Saint Christophe, focused on environmental management and protection.
