Christine Gries

Christine Gries has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Christine is currently the Director of Provider Engagement (Southeast) at Somatus since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lynchburg Nephrology Physicians from October 2019 to August 2022 as the Nephrology Practice Manager. In this role, they managed physicians' and advanced practice providers' coverage across multiple facilities, implemented organizational procedures to improve clinic flow and patient satisfaction, and provided leadership and development for office staff and providers. Before joining Lynchburg Nephrology Physicians, Christine worked at Morrison Healthcare from December 2002 to October 2019 as the Lead Renal Dietitian. In this position, they served as a liaison between medical directors, community physicians, and hospitals, and implemented patient education programs to improve the quality metrics of the UVA dialysis program. Christine is also Board Certified in Renal Nutrition.

Christine Gries holds a Master of Science degree in Community Health from Virginia Tech. Christine also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Foods, with a field of study in Nutrition, from the same institution.
