Denisa Dragan

Vice President, Population Health at Somatus

Denisa Dragan's work experience begins in 2005 when they worked as a Programs Assistant at the University of Chicago Graham School. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Residency Program Manager at Advocate Health Care, where they managed a training program and oversaw various responsibilities such as program accreditation and resident recruitment. In 2011, Denisa joined NorthShore University HealthSystem as a Senior Patient Access Manager, where they led a team and implemented improvements in workflows and staff performance. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Presence Health, holding two roles: Director of Referral Management and Senior Director of Provider Network Performance. In these positions, Denisa was responsible for designing and implementing a referral management department, as well as leading initiatives to improve provider network performance. In 2019, Denisa joined Sound Physicians as the Vice President of Population Health, where they had executive ownership of achieving operational and financial objectives for at-risk patient populations across multiple states. Currently, Denisa is working at Somatus as the Vice President of Population Health, a position they have held since 2021.

Denisa Dragan holds a Master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a focus on General Studies and Humanities, which they obtained from the University of Chicago between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management from DePaul University. In 2006, Denisa obtained a Leadership Certification from DePaul University.
