Julia Christian has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Julia currently works at Somatus as a Patient Health Advocate, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, Julia worked at VCU Health as a Medical Outreach Worker. Julia gained experience as a Personal Assistant to the Owner/Project Manager at No More Dirty Roofs from 2015 to 2017, where they handled various responsibilities such as business establishment, customer management, and site safety. Julia also worked as a General Anesthesia & Administrative Coordinator at a Private Practice in 2016 and as a Substitute Teacher at New Kent Public Schools from 2005 to 2015. Their previous experience also includes working as an Emergency Dept. Tech at Sentara Williamsburg Emergency Room from 2009 to 2011.

Julia Christian attended Rappahannock Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree. Their field of study was Psychology and Social Work. In July 2019, Julia obtained certification as a Virginia Certified Community Health Worker from the Virginia Certification Board.
