Zainab Zubair

Zainab Zubair has a diverse range of work experience. Zainab is currently working as a Product Analyst at Somatus, where they contribute to the development and enhancement of their product, RenalIQ Care. In this role, they design and implements new features, collaborates with teams to prioritize product features, and ensures the delivery of high-quality product releases.

Prior to their current role, Zainab worked as a Client Services Coordinator at North Carolina Endodontics, where they provided support to clients. Zainab also served as a Student Mentor in the Stem Journal Club Mentorship Program.

Zainab has also gained experience in research and teaching. Zainab worked as a Biochemistry Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they assisted in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Zainab was also involved in research projects, including co-authoring an article on bacterium bioremediation and pathogenic characteristics.

Additionally, Zainab worked as a STEM Laboratory Researcher at Wake Technical Community College, where they performed PCR amplifications and genomic analyses. Zainab also gained customer service experience as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Target and worked as a Primary Care Intern at Falls Medical Center, where they conducted medical tests and managed patient records.

Throughout their career, Zainab has showcased strong communication and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in various software tools and platforms.

Zainab Zubair's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from Wakefield High School from 2013 to 2017, focusing on the field of study in science. To further their education, they attended Wake Technical Community College from 2017 to 2019, earning an Associate of Science degree in Biology. Zainab then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from North Carolina State University from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Zainab has acquired various certifications. These include the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications from Scrum Alliance, obtained in June 2022. Zainab also holds an OSHA Certification from Total Medical Compliance, obtained in February 2021, and a certificate in Python for Data Science and AI from Coursera, received in December 2020.
