Heather Doty

Heather Doty is a seasoned professional in biomedical engineering with extensive experience in clinical affairs and research and development. Currently serving in Clinical Affairs at SOMAVAC® Medical Solutions, Inc. since September 2018, Heather's previous roles include R&D Associate, and a Product Development Intern at Ariste Medical. Additional experience includes internships in R&D at AgNovos Healthcare and University of Memphis, as well as a US Student Fulbright Fellowship at Singapore General Hospital. Initial career experience began at CEDRA Corporation as a Project Associate and included a research associate position at Philipps-Universität Marburg, focusing on cancer cell cycle protein interactions. Educational qualifications comprise a Ph.D. and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Memphis and University of Tennessee Health Science Center, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
