Jackie Mitchell is the current Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Shield Therapeutics. Jackie has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in both regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Jackie started their career at Boehringer Ingelheim in 1994 as a Manager of Regulatory Intelligence. Jackie then moved to Abbott in 2000, where they worked their way up to Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs. Jackie left Abbott in 2007 to join J&J as Director of Global Regulatory Affairs. Jackie then moved to Archimedes Pharma in 2008, where they served as Head of European Regulatory Affairs until 2012. Jackie has been with Shield Therapeutics since 2012 and has played an integral role in the company's success.

Jackie Mitchell attended the Dollar Academy for high school. Jackie then went on to study biochemistry at the University of Oxford, where they earned their BA and MA. Finally, they pursued a DPhil in immunochemistry at the University of Oxford.
