Carly Broucher

Carly Broucher is an experienced educator with a strong background in chemistry, currently serving as a Chemistry Teacher at Somerset Area School District since August 2022 and having held a similar position at Shade Junior/Senior High School since August 2008. Prior to entering the field of education, Carly worked in loss prevention as a Detective at Boscov's Department Store, LLC from September 2001 to April 2008, and provided therapeutic support at the Alternative Community Resource Program, Inc. from November 2001 to January 2005. Carly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned between 2006 and 2008, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Penn State University, completed from 1997 to 2001.
