Alan August, MSM, MBA, MSCJ, GCOL, currently serves as a Captain in the Army National Guard since May 2013, with a diverse range of roles including Planning Officer and Maintenance Platoon Leader, demonstrating expertise in logistics and operational management. In addition, Alan has been a Sheriff Officer since May 2014 at Somerset County Sheriff's Office, responsible for law enforcement within a wide jurisdiction and managing various responsibilities including traffic enforcement and prisoner transport.
