Nathan Rudy

Nathan Rudy is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public information and media relations. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer for Somerset County, NJ, since June 2020, Nathan oversees a team responsible for managing communications, crisis management, and media relations. Prior roles include Senior Public Information Officer at NJ TRANSIT, where Nathan developed messaging and managed media relations for one of the largest public transportation agencies in the U.S., and ownership of Blue Hills Group, a consultancy for non-profits and governmental organizations. Nathan has held significant leadership positions, including President and CEO of the Edison Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the American Red Cross Tri-County Chapter, showcasing a strong commitment to public service and community engagement. Nathan holds a BA in English and Philosophy from Beloit College.
