Steve Bucchignano

Steve Bucchignano is a dedicated educator and experienced baseball coach with notable achievements in both fields. Since November 2015, Steve has served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Kean University while concurrently teaching Physical Education and Health at Somerville Public Schools since 2005. Prior coaching roles include Head Baseball Coach at St. Joseph High School (2011-2015) where Steve led teams to multiple county semi-finals and secured the 2014 GMC County Tournament Championship, and Head Baseball Coach at Bound Brook High School (2007-2009) with back-to-back state tournament appearances. Steve also worked as an Associate Scout for the Colorado Rockies from 2009 to 2011. A graduate of Kean University with a degree in Education, Steve's coaching career has produced numerous college baseball players, including two who were drafted in the 2017 MLB draft and one who made a Major League debut in 2020.
