Diederik Rijsemus

Diederik Rijsemus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Naadam, a premium cashmere fashion brand focused on quality and sustainable sourcing. Diederik later held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Something Navy in 2019 and at Thakoon in the same year. Prior to this, Rijsemus co-founded Resoluut Real Estate Solutions in 2011, where they developed and implemented innovative solutions for repurposing vacant commercial real estate. Diederik also worked as a Business Development Consultant at Ashoka's Changemakers in 2011 and as a Visiting Research Associate at Johns Hopkins University SAIS in 2010. Rijsemus started their career as a Financial Analyst at Baker & McKenzie in 2009.

Diederik Rijsemus completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics & Chinese from Dickinson College from 2007 to 2011. During their undergraduate studies, Diederik also attended Peking University in 2009-2010, where they pursued a Minor in Chinese.
