Freddy Jose has worked in the software engineering industry since 2012. In 2012, they were a Software Developer at Ironcode Gaming Pvt. Ltd, where they worked on the Pahelika Secret Legends game, focusing on the hint system and resolution dependent changes for iPhone and iPad. Freddy automated the process of resizing and repositioning of sprites for porting between different displays, reducing the time it took from a week to three hours. In 2013, they joined Fiberlink as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the Docs distribution service of Fiberlink on Windows Phone and Windows Desktop. Freddy implemented a inode-like file identifier (in windows) so that only changes to file data (for most common file types including office files) can be checked and uploaded. In 2014, Freddy Jose joined AirWatch by VMware as a Software Engineer, where they improved security of content distribution system of the company by implementing in-memory decryption of files and ensuring usage of different keys for different files. In 2018, they joined Skillmine Technology Consulting as a Senior Consultant, where they worked as a desktop and backend developer for Intuit’s customer onboarding for Lacerte. Freddy modified the process to import the complete customer data to Lacerte without any manual intervention by decoding the competing software’s data storage. In 2020, Freddy Jose joined Wissda as a Senior software engineer windows, where they worked on InMobi ads SDK for UWP applications, focusing on improving the stability of the SDK by better memory management and thread utilization. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Somnoware Healthcare Systems, where they are working on the product SDI, a windows app that helped the web UI to sync patient data to the server. Freddy is also working on improving the update flow for the existing product, including a forceful update if the customer's IT admin decides so.
Freddy Jose attended Nirmalamatha Central School from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an All India Senior Secondary Certificate and an All India Secondary School Certificate in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Freddy then attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Instrumentation.
