Oluwafemi Olowoyeye

Oluwafemi Olowoyeye MRAeS is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive expertise in quality assurance and safety management. Currently serving as the Director of Compliance Monitoring & Safety at Somon Air LLC since September 2016, Oluwafemi is responsible for establishing an independent Quality and Safety System and overseeing the performance of the quality assurance program. Previously, Oluwafemi held significant roles at Safi Airways, including Quality and Safety Manager and Senior Quality & Safety Auditor, where responsibilities included corporate oversight of safety compliance, quality assurance, and management of audits. Prior positions at Arik Air Ltd as Quality Assurance Engineer, and various roles in aircraft planning at Associated Aviation Ikeja, Sosoliso Airlines, and IRS Airlines, contributed to a strong foundation in operational compliance and engineering oversight. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Quality Systems Management from The National Graduate School of Quality Management and a B.Tech in Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology Akure.
