Weydson Barros

Weydson Barros has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Gerente Comercial Regional and Consultor Digital de Soluções Integradas at SOMOS Educação since April 2014, following its evolution into the largest publishing group for basic education in Brazil. Prior to this role, Weydson worked at Saraiva Educação and Legal Livros Distribuidora Ltda as a Consultor/Divulgador and Consultor de Vendas, respectively, representing major publishing houses in the state of Paraíba. Early career experiences include positions with Editora IBEP and Arco Iris Distribuidora de Livros, where the foundation in sales and marketing was built. Initial employment began in the automotive service sector as a Frentista. Weydson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Universidade Estadual da Paraíba and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics at UFCG, alongside studies in Commercial Management.
